Overview

Highest Mortals, direct creations of the gods to populate the world of Tos'var. While not the only race or even the oldest, they claim a shard of divinity that permeates their being. Humans are hardy and able to adapt to almost any environment, and have spread far and wide in the world. Humans also boast the ability to hybridize with most races, leading to the creation of many subspecies of both human and non-human races.

Hybrids

• "Humans are the only race that can breed with any species. Non-human hybrids can happen but they are so rare to be nearly a myth (think like Ligers)." (Source: Discord)

• Humans can pretty much interbreed with every race (Elf, Orc, etc) and the offspring is genetically human, but the eyes change color depending on their non-human ancestry. This can affect magic attunement, such as Fae with Illusions. (Source: Discord)

Between two non-human parents the offspring most often tends to be one of the parent's races, but hybrids or heterochromic new races are also possible.
